How do I set up an initial appointment?

You can contact me via email, phone, or use the contact form to schedule your first appt, and prior to having the first appointment, I will provide you with a link for you to complete an online brief intake form, asking you share a little bit about the struggles you are currently facing and goals you would like to achieve   

What can I expect at the first session?

The initial appointment is more of an interview, not a typical therapy session. I will ask you questions about the problems you are experiencing and we will get to know each other to determine if we are a good fit (which is important). I will offer treatment recommendations, and if you decide to start therapy, we will schedule follow up appointments. Typically this session lasts for about 60 mins

How often will we meet?

Depending on the need, we will determine the frequency of visits, and visits typically last for 50 minutes, with the initial appointment usually last around 60 minutes

Typically, yes, but it is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider and ask about coverage for behavioral health services
